About Jim Gipe

Jim Gipe, owner of Pivot Media, began his career in 1989 as a photojournalist, an experience which remains a strong influence in his photography. Jim has since made a name for himself shooting editorial and commercial assignments for a variety of clients. In 1993 he began to experiment with an early form of Adobe Photoshop, quickly recognizing its potential as a photographic tool. In the years that followed he developed and expanded his digital imaging techniques alongside his photographic work, and soon began to combine the two, taking both photography and digital imaging to a new level.
